LVMPD reported at around 10:12 PM, two people were killed in a car collision near the intersection of Vegas Dr and Rancho.
One of those killed was a 16-year-old driver along with their passenger, and it's believed that speed was the main contributing factor to this accident.
These deaths are the 32nd and 33rd traffic fatalities Las Vegas has seen since the New Year.
The car accident remains under investigation as of March 2nd, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Additional Information
Three vehicles were involved- a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria, a dark sedan, and a 2005 Nissan Frontier.
