Thoughts From a Personal Injury Attorney
Avoiding tragedies like this one should be the number one priority of both drivers and pedestrians. In the wake of this tragedy, we should all consider the following tips to enhance pedestrian safety:
-
Crosswalk Awareness- When crossing the road, always use marked crossings.
-
Improve Visibility- When walking on busy roads, improve your visibility by wearing reflective or bright clothing.
-
Obey Traffic Laws- Drivers and pedestrians must adhere to traffic signals and signs. This is not a recommendation; it's the law.
